Police: Pedestrian struck in South Kingstown, seriously injured

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — Police are investigating a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian in South Kingstown.

According to officials, the pedestrian was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.

Police said the weather conditions appear to be a contributing factor at this time.

The South Kingstown Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident.
