The (Gusty) Winds of Change

After a day of record-setting rainfall on Wednesday, Thursday will be dry. That said, while the wind isn’t quite as intense as it was on Wednesday, it’s not done with us yet. Wind speeds will be between 5-15 mph, and gusts could get up to around 30 mph. With temperatures only in the upper 30s and low 40s this afternoon, it’ll be a chilly feel! The wildcard of today’s forecast comes in the form of a few flakes. Winds are strong enough today that we may see some leftover moisture from the snow bands coming off the Great Lakes make it all the way to Southern New England. Don’t be surprised if you catch a flurry or snow shower this afternoon/evening.

Tomorrow will be calmer and mostly sunny. That said, our cold air from the north will have fully taken control of the forecast, and high temperatures will only be in the low to mid 30s! Saturday will be similar– mostly sunny and highs in the mid 30s.

We’re a touch warmer on Sunday, with highs in the low 40s. However, clouds move in throughout the day ahead of our next round of rain, which arrives Monday. Expect showers throughout the afternoon Monday, and a rinse-and-repeat situation on Tuesday.
