Frigid end of the week

We returned to dry weather today after a historic December soaking yesterday. Much of Rhode Island tallied close to 5″ of rain.

T.F. Green saw not only it’s rainiest day of the entire year at 4.60″, but also it’s rainiest December day on record!

This will certainly take a big bight out of our drought, and more rain is expected next week.

Friday and the weekend will be quiet and cold. Skies will be mostly sunny, with daytime highs only in the 30s. Wake-up temperatures will be in the teens!
