Firefighters help camel in distress in South Kingstown
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Union Fire District responded to a camel in distress yesterday at a local farm in South Kingstown.
Official said that their crew responded to the camel on its side at Lavender Waves Farm.
According to a post from the farm on social media, their camel Harley managed to get on his side on a small hill, and was not able to get himself up.
Firefighters managed to get a hoist around his hump, and pull him back over after about an hour.
