SWANSEA, Mass. (WLNE) — Swansea Public Schools announced the Joseph Case Junior High School Parent Teacher Organization published its 2025 calendar filled with photography taken by students.

For this year’s calendar, 28 students were chosen to have their photography featured, with each winner receiving a copy of the calendar.

PTO members spent three weeks deciding which photos would be included in the calendar, having to choose from over 40 submissions.

The 2025 calendar photos were taken across the Town of Swansea, including the Swansea Dam, Christ Church, and Town Beach.

This is the second year the PTO created the calendar, which was proposed by PTO president Kristin Pettey to both highlight the artistic talent at the school and raise PTO funds.

“I’ve always been amazed with the artistic abilities and the photography talent of our students,” Pettey said. “The PTO calendar is another chance for them to shine, reminding us throughout the year of just how talented our teachers and students are here at Joseph Case Junior High School.”

All profits go towards funding field trips, end-of-year award ceremonies, and additional support for the school’s teachers.

Calendars can be purchased for $20 at Joseph Case Junior High School or the PTO’s Facebook page.
