Board of Licenses to hold show-cause hearing for Saje Kitchen, Mezzo Lounge

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Board of Licenses will hold a show-cause hearing for two Providence night clubs today.

The show-cause hearing comes after violent incidents back in November.

Saje has been closed since a knife-fight broke out inside on Nov. 8, while Mezzo Lounge was ordered closed after a shots-fired incident on Nov. 17.

The board is scheduled to meet at 4 p.m. this afternoon, as the hearing was postponed  last week.
