Firefighters respond to reported fire in Providence
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Crews responded to a reported fire on Sumter Street in Providence on Friday morning.
ABC6 news crews could see smoke coming from the roof of the multi-family home, but no visible flames.
According to Chief Derek Silva, 38 firefighters were working to extinguish the fire.
Approximately 38 @PVDFireDept firefighters are working to extinguish a fire in a 3 story apartment building near the intersection of Broad St. and Thurbers Ave.

All occupants escaped without injury.
