15 recruits graduate from RI Fire Training Program
EXETER, R.I. (WLNE) — Recruits from six Rhode Island fire departments graduated from the state’s Municipal Fire Training Program at the Rhode Island State Fire Training Academy today.
According to a release, the 12-week training program helps firefighters learn skills from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards for Firefighters and NFPA Hazardous Materials Operation protocols, which are basic requirements for all firefighters.
