Six-week-old infant dies at home in Burrillville

BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WLNE) — Burrillville police and Pascoag Fire Department personnel responded to a Pascoag home Thursday morning for a call of an unresponsive infant, according to the Burrillville Police Department.

The six-week-old male infant was found unresponsive by his mother in a bassinette and personnel arrived at 6:39 a.m.

The infant was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Burrillville police and other agencies will continue the investigation into the death.
