Amazon says packages found in woods are being reprocessed

LAKEVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — A spokesperson from Amazon said packages found in Lakeville are being reproccessed to the customers.

“We can confirm all customer orders were reprocessed and redelivered, or are currently in the process of being delivered,” the spokesperson for Amazon said.

On 2 a.m. on Sunday, Lakeville Police said it discovered 80 Amazon packages in a wooded area near Bedford St.

In the meantime, Amazon customers can check their account for updates on expected delivery times for their packages.

The company added it is working with the Lakeville Police Department in the investigation.
