State Police arrest 75-year-old man after wrong-way crash on Route 6

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police arrested a 75-year-old man for allegedly driving the wrong way on Route 6.
According to officials, on 9:39 p.m. on Dec. 25, troopers arrested Louis Grassa of Johnston for reckless driving.
Police said the arrest was the result of crash in which Grassa was allegedly driving on the wrong side of the highway on Route 6.
Grassa was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by Providence Fire Department for treatment, where he was later released.
Officials said Grassa was also given a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
