Roger Williams Park Zoo mourns loss of donkey Willie

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — At Roger Williams Park Zoo, beloved Willie the donkey passed away at the age 30.

A spokesperson for the zoo zoo said Willie passed away Saturday “Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his dedicated zookeepers.”

Willie brought joy to staff and visitors since he first arrived at the zoo in 2006.
