Traffic backup in Cranston due to crash on Interstate 295

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — A major traffic buildup occurred on Interstate 295 due to a crash Monday afternoon.

The crash occurred near a construction zone and traffic was diverted to Route 37.

One lane is still blocked off as of 3:45 p.m.
