UPDATE: Warwick armed barricade suspect faces a judge

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A man police say barricaded himself inside a residence with a shotgun after reports of a domestic disturbance faced a Kent County judge Tuesday.
Jonathan Leamy, 38, is charged with possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a crime of violence and domestic disorderly conduct.
Leamy was given $10,000 surety, given a no-contact order with the alleged victim, his mother, and was issued a firearm surrender notice.
Leamy’s next court appearance will be on March 25, 2025.
Police responded to the Tiffany Ave. home at approximately 1:38 p.m. Monday for reports of the disturbance and determined that Leamy was in the residence alone, barricaded with the weapon.
A perimeter was established and negotiations lasted until 4:48 p.m. when Leamy surrendered without incident.
