UPDATE: Two dead, one injured in Raynham crash

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Two people have died and one suffered life-threatening injuries after a Monday car crash in Raynham, according to Raynham police.

Passenger Dorryn Robinson, 28, of New Bedford was pronounced deceased on the scene, and driver Averi Costa-Burton, 26, of Fall River, who was ejected from the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at Morton Hospital.

A 25-year-old male from Fall River, a backseat passenger, was transported by medical helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The one-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 9:25 p.m. Monday night on East Britannia Street near Thrasher Street.

The vehicle was found leaning up against a tree by responding emergency personnel, and early investigation indicates that the vehicle went airborne before the collision.

The crash remains under investigation by Raynham police and Massachusetts State Police.
