North Kingstown man sentenced after child molestation conviction

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A North Kingstown man has been sentenced to 17 years at the Adult Correctional Institutions for child molestation.

36-year-old Daniel Packham was found guilty of sexually assaulting a victim under the age of 14 multiple times in the span of a year in North Kingstown.

Peckham pleaded no contest to two counts of first-degree child molestation.

The case did not go to trial.

Peckham will serve 40 years of probation following his time in prison.
