Cranston Police looking for suspect in armed robbery

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Police Department asked the public for assistance identifying a suspect in a robbery at a convenience store on Jan. 23.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5′ 6″ with a thin build, wearing all-black clothing, gray knit gloves, a mask, and purple and white Nike sneakers.

Police said the suspect fled the store with approximately $2,500 after threatening the cashier with a gun.
