Wind and Rain in the Forecast

We’ve certainly felt the wind over the last 24 hours or so, and those winds have helped to usher colder air back into southern New England. We’re waking up to temperatures, more or less, where they should be this time of year in the upper teens and low 20s. However, we won’t warm up much this afternoon, with high temperatures only in the upper 20s and low 30s, leaving us far below average. With still-breezy conditions, it’ll feel like we’re in the low 20s at times.

Overnight, temperatures fall back to the low 20s, and clouds increase, leading into a very different looking (and feeling) Friday.

Our next storm arrives Friday, bringing rounds of rain throughout the day. I’ll be windy in the afternoon as well. High temperatures will be in the low 40s, but it’ll be tough to enjoy the mild air without getting soaked. The final round of rain tapers off Friday evening.

Saturday is sunnier but colder with temperatures getting into the mid 30s. Sunday will stay in the mid 30s, but clouds will increase throughout the day.

Sunday night into Monday morning we have the chance of a light wintry mix, perhaps a few snow flakes. Right now, and precipitation looks very light, but we’ll keep any eye on it and keep you posted!
