Pawtucket hit-and-run driver turns himself in

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The suspect wanted for a hit-and-run back in March turned himself in on Monday. 

Pawtucket Police has been looking for the driver of a black van seen on camera striking a juvenile female and driving away back on March 30th.

Arthur Genest, 58, of Pawtucket turned himself in as a result. He was charged with  Duty to Stop in Accident Resulting in Personal Injury.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
