Snow to Finish the Weekend
Saturday night is looking very cold and clear with low temperatures in the single digits and wind chills near zero. Sunday will start with sunshine and clouds build in through the da. Sunday temperatures will top near 30. Sunday night is when we bring in the snow. After 8:00pm, look for snow to develop and accumulate through about 3am. This won’t be a big event as totals will likely be between 1-2 inches for most of the area. Coastal regions will see even less. The Monday morning commute may be slippery on untreated roads. Once we get to mid-morning Monday, look for clearing skies and warming temperatures well into the 40s. Tuesday shapes up to be mainly sunny and milder than average in the lower-40s. Wednesday brings our next chance of snow. Starting in the late afternoon, snow will develop and could make sloppy roads for the evening. Note: the timing is still an issue and snow could very easily hold off until the nighttime. Snow will be in place overnight into early Thursday then mix with and over to rain. The rain lasts through Thursday night. Sunshine returns for Friday as do the 40s for highs.
