MassDOT to perform inspections on I-195 in Fall River, Seekonk
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said it will be performing ancillary structure inspections on Interstate 195 in Fall River and Seekonk on Feb. 5.
The inspection on the Route 81 southbound ramp to I-195 eastbound in Fall River will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The following detour will be in place for the left turn lane closure to Exit 13:
- Continue straight on Plymouth Avenue southbound
- Bear left onto Rhode Island Avenue
- Continue straight on Rhode Island Avenue southbound
- Bear right onto Route 24 northbound ramp to I-195
- Continue straight on Route 24 northbound towards I-195
- Take exit 3 towards I-195 eastbound
The inspection on I-195 eastbound at the Anthony Street underpass in Seekonk will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Lane and shoulder closures will be in place at both work sites.
Drivers traveling through the affected area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
