Chepachet crews rescue horse that fell

CHEPACHET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Chepachet Fire Department said it helped a horse get back up on its hooves after it fell on Monday.

Volunteers with the Chepachet department helped the horse “get his legs under him,” along with the help of Glocester Animal Control, Glocester Public Works, and South Foster Volunteer Fire Co.

After the crews were able to get the horse upright, they brought him to the barn to warm up, according to Chepachet fire officials.
