Tracking Two Storms This Week

Temperatures on this Tuesday morning are in the upper 30s and low 40s, and they won’t move much as we head into this afternoon. However, it will get sunnier and breezier later today as well. Be prepared with the shades, and a few layers if you get cold easily!

On that note, as colder air filters into southern New England, you can expect temperatures on Wednesday morning in the teens. Despite more sunshine, Wednesday’s highs will only be in the low 30s.

Thursday’s highs are back to the upper 30s and low 40s, but the bigger story is that our next storm arrives on Thursday. This storm looks like it will be a nuisance, beginning with snow showers Thursday morning. Those snow showers will intensify slightly before transitioning over to a wintry mix, and eventually rain later in the afternoon. While we could see a few inches of snow in spots, the winter “mush” that follows will give you a better picture of what it will look like outside when this storm is done.

Friday we’re back to more sunshine and temperatures around 40 degrees.
