OSHA to investigate Washington Bridge demolition

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Department of Labor is investigating the demolition of the Washington Bridge.

According to the DOL’s office of public affairs, OSHA is inspecting J.R. Vinagro corporation and their work on the bridge demolition.

As it’s an open investigation and there are few details available.

OSHA can only say that they’re looking to determine whether there were any violations of workplace safety standards.

An inspection can take up to six months.
