FOSTER, R.I. (WLNE) – Hulk, the dog who was paralyzed after being hit by a car in Jordan, has found his forever home in Rhode Island. And his new home is already equipped for his wheelchair.

Amanda Destafeno and her family adopted Hulk last week. Her youngest daughter uses a wheelchair, and the home has a ramp and van to accommodate her.

She says Hulk fits right in with the family’s six children.

The family also chose to honor Hulk’s heritage by calling him “Habibi”, the name he was called by his family in Jordan.

Hulk still gets treatment, but his recovery has been miraculous.

Destafeno plans to train Hulk as a therapy dog and take him to the school she works at.
