Motorcyclist injured in Wrentham crash

WRENTHAM, Mass. (WLNE)- A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after he was rear ended by a car on Wednesday.
Wrentham Police Chief Bill McGrath said the crash happened on Thurston Street, after a driver in a car did not see a motorcycle slowing down in front of him.
The car rear ended the motorcycle, which ejected the motorcyclist onto the road.
McGrath said although he was alert and conscious, the motorcyclist was taken to Rhode Island Hospital’s Trauma Center with injuries.
The driver of the car was evaluated on scene.
Wrentham police said they want to remind drivers to remain focused on the road, avoid all distractions and stay aware of your surroundings.
The accident is being investigated by the Wrentham Police Department.
