Pawtucket Police arrest man in connection to narcotics investigation

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Pawtucket Police Department said a man was arrested in connection to a narcotics investigation.
On Wednesday, police used a court-authorized warrant to search an apartment on Mineral Spring Avenue.
During the search, detectives seized a handgun with a suppressor, a high capacity magazine, about $47,000, around 900 individual packets of Fentanyl, approximately 286 grams of Fentanyl, digital scales, cutting agents, and packaging material.
29-year-old Joseph Urena was arrested and charged with manufacturing/delivery/possession 1 oz.- 1 kilo (Fentanyl), possession with intent to deliver (Fentanyl), possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a high capacity magazine, and possession of a silencer.
The investigation is ongoing.
