Black Lives Matter Rhode Island to hold ‘community readiness meeting’ in response to Trump EOs

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — This weekend in Pawtucket, Black Lives Matter Rhode Island will hold what they’re calling a “community readiness meeting.”

According to BLMRI, the meeting will help residents have a clearer understanding of the impacts of President Donald Trump’s executive orders on non-profits and the community as a whole.

Resources will also be made available to attendees.

The organization said they hope the meeting will foster a spirit of collaboration.

The free event will be Saturday from noon to 2 p.m., at the Impact Theatre.
