More Snow Expected This Week

High pressure is moving in to take charge tonight, meaning clearing skies and light winds from the northwest by dawn. Expect a bright but cold Monday morning with lows near 20. High temps Monday afternoon will be colder than the average of 40, coming in closer to 32. Tuesday morning will be very cold with lows in the lower-teens and single digits. Clouds build in Tuesday and temperatures top out near 35. Tuesday night, a coastal storm will pass us by to our south and may come close enough to throw a few snow showers our way overnight into early Wednesday. Chances are low, but still notable. Wednesday overnight through Thursday morning will be the next chance of snow. A warm front will lift into the cold air causing for snow to develop Wednesday overnight. Here we could find some accumulations, but as the warmer air from the warm front infiltrates the region, we will undergo a change from snow to sleet and freezing rain over to all rain as temperatures rise into the 40s. High pressure comes back for Friday with sunshine and highs in the mid-30s. Up next is the weekend with our next chance of snow. Saturday into Sunday would be the timeframe as of now, but certainly stay tuned as we hone the weekend forecast over the next few days.
