  • Have an expiration date of August 2026, which is located on the top portion of the jar

The company urges consumers who purchased the paste to not consume the product, and to return it for a refund.

According to RIDOH, salmonella cause cause serious or fatal infections in individuals with weakened immune systems, young children, or elderly people.

Healthy individuals usually experience fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain; and in rare instances arterial infections, endocarditis, or arthritis, according to RIDOH.
