Three Storms This Week!

We have not one, not two, but three storms headed our way this week!

Today (Tuesday) doesn’t start off stormy. We’ll have increasing clouds and high temperatures in the mid 30s. But our storm arrives later this evening. This is the least impactful of the three, as it will just brush us with some snow showers tonight through early Wednesday morning. The result is a coating of snow for areas of South County and the South Coast by Wednesday morning.

Wednesday remains relatively cloudy with temperatures, once again, in the low and mid 30s. Our next storm arrives just after the clock strikes midnight and we get to Thursday. This storm looks more direct, but also more dynamic. We’ll start with snow showers before transitioning to a wintry mix early Thursday morning. Then, late morning and early afternoon, this storm will just bring us some plain old rain. Right now, it looks like that rain will taper off around 1 PM or so.

Friday is chilly, with highs only in the low 30s. It’ll also be pretty windy, with wind speeds in the teens and gusts up to about 25 mph. However, it’s also sunnier as well– a little good news for those of you with Valentine’s Day plans!

Storm number three looks like it’ll arrive late on Saturday night. That will also likely start as snow, but quickly change to a mix and rain as we get into Sunday. We’ll have more updates throughout the week!
