Johnston Police say one taken to hospital after multi-vehicle accident

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Johnston Police Department said one person was taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday.

According to police, officers responded to Hartford Avenue for reports of a two-vehicle accident.

Police discovered the accident was a rear-end collision, which occurred in the westbound travel lane.

One of the motorists was taken to the hospital with injuries that Johnston police deemed not serious.
