Charlestown man sentenced for fourth child pornography conviction
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Charlestown man has been sentenced after his fourth conviction on child pornography charges, according to U.S. Attorney Zachary A. Cunha.
Patrick K. Beattie, 39, was sentenced to serve 10 years in federal prison in U.S. District Court after admitting to downloading and storing hundreds of images and videos of child sexual abuse.

Beattie was previously convicted on child pornography charges in 2017, 2022 and 2023.
Beattie pleaded guilty in his latest case on October 21, 2024 to two counts of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
He will be under 15 years of federal supervised release after his sentence is complete.
