Card skimmers found at multiple Massachusetts supermarkets

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Trucchi’s Supermarkets said that card skimmers were found in the checkout lanes of stores in New Bedford, Taunton, Abington, and West Bridgewater.

The skimmers were found between Feb. 10 and Feb. 11.

The chain said that any customers who may have been affected to monitor their accounts and to contact their local police department if they believe their accounts have been compromised.

An investigation into the skimmers is currently underway.
