East Providence to open temporary overnight warming shelter

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The City of East Providence will open their temporary extreme weather overnight warming shelter beginning Monday.

The shelter, located at the Robert E. Rock Senior Center will remain open until February 24.

The space is limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

You must sign in and be at the shelter between the hours of 7 and 8:30 p.m. in order to stay overnight.
