Police say man injured in Cranston after granite slab fell off truck

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Police Department said a man was injured after a granite counter-top fell off a truck Monday morning.

Around 7:43 a.m., police were sent to Luxus Marble and Granite on Elmwood Avenue to assist with an individual who was injured.

According to police, the man suffered broken bones after the large granite slab fell on him.
