South Kingstown Police seek public’s assistance after series of mail thefts

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The South Kingstown Police Department said it is seeking the public’s assistance after a series of mail thefts were reported in the area.

According to police, the stolen mail has been linked to fraudulent credit card charges.

The department asks for anyone who has security camera footage that has captured potential mail theft or suspicious behavior related to the incident to email the department at police@southkingstownri.gov.

Individuals who email the department will receive a secure link to safely upload the security camera footage, according to police.
