Delta Airlines plane crashed while landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport, according to FAA
TORONTO (WLNE) — A Delta Airlines plane crashed while landing at the Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada on Monday afternoon, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Delta Airlines said there are no fatalities, but at least 17 people were taken to the hospital with injuries.
According to Peel Regional Paramedic Services, two patients were airlifted to Toronto trauma centers, and one was taken to a children’s hospital.
The crash occurred around 2:15 p.m., according to Delta Airlines.
The FAA said all 80 people on board have been evacuated from the plane.
The plane was traveling from Minneapolis to Toronto.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating the crash.
