PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Rhode Island College employee has been arrested and charged in connection to a hidden camera found in a restroom, according to a spokesperson for the college.

49-year-old Dean Faiola, of Cranston, was arrested at his home and charged with one count of video voyeurism after he allegedly set up a hidden camera in a restroom, according to Providence police.

Police said Faiola worked in the kitchen of the college.

According to RIC Director of Communications and Public Relations John Taraborelli, the employee has been suspended and placed on a no-trespass order from campus.

Within the last week, RIC campus police were notified of a hidden camera that was found in a restroom at Donovan Dining Center.
