Cold and Dry Start to March
Another cold night wraps up the first weekend of March. Clear skies and a rapid drop in temperatures overnight and lows to start Monday will be closer to 10 with wind chills closer to 0. The cold air from Sunday lingers on for Monday, but so does the sunshine. Monday’s high temperatures will top out about 10 degrees colder than average in the lower-30s. Tuesday continues the sunshine trend and temperatures are closer to average with lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s. Midweek will be quite unsettled. A warm front brings clouds Wednesday and rain developing in the evening. Temperatures will indeed be warmer, topping in the 50s. Rain continues overnight and into Thursday which looks to be the mildest day of the week as highs top closer to 60. A cold front Thursday will usher in colder temperatures to finish out the week. The weekend is also shaping up to be unsettled with a chance of showers both days and there may even be periods of snow mixed with rain if temperatures dip. Stay tuned…
