New Bedford Police investigate stabbing

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Police Department said it is investigating after a stabbing Monday morning.

Around 6 a.m., officers were dispatched to Kempton Street and Liberty Street.

On scene, police discovered a man with a stab wound.

Police said his injury was non-life-threatening.

New Bedford detectives are investigating the stabbing.
