CCRI to launch new culinary degree at Newport campus
NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — Governor Dan McKee will be in Newport Friday with CCRI’s interim president and local leaders to launch a new culinary degree at the community college.
The Associate in Arts in Culinary Craftsmanship is the latest push from the governor to help build a state of the art education hub for culinary professionals.
This is in part to help meet the growing demand for hospitality workers in the Ocean State.
The event will be at 10 a.m. at CCRI’s Newport campus.
