Providence fire crews respond to Angell Street blaze
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence fire crews responded after a fire broke out Monday morning in a building on Angell Street.
Crews responded to the fire at approximately 6:30 a.m. at the Vedanta Society of Providence.
“Five or six years ago there was a fire right across the street over here, but this is obviously further down the block but it’s definitely a little bit concerning that there’s so many fires going on,” said resident Andrew Sojka.
The Vedanta Society declined to comment on this morning’s fire and Providence fire officials said the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
