Burrillville police release name of deceased hiker

BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Burrillville Police Department has released the identity of a hiker who was found unresponsive on a town trail and was later pronounced deceased.

Edward Clish, 62, of Uxbridge, Mass., was found unresponsive on March 7 on the Nipmuc Trail.

An investigation into Clish’s death is being conducted by Burrillville police and the Rhode Island Medical Examiner’s Office.
