Freetown fire battles brush fire

FREETOWN, Mass. (WLNE) — The Freetown Fire Department said it responded to a brush fire on High Street Wednesday.

Firefighters responded to the area around 10:30 a.m.

The department said that four acres burned and that it was “impossible” to determine the cause of the fire, though there are walking paths and a railroad nearby.
