Suspect in Homeland Security narcotics investigation held without bail

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said that the suspect in a joint narcotics investigation with Warwick police and the Department of Homeland Security was held without bail.

30-year-old Cheyenne Delossantos faces numerous charges including possession of drugs with the intent to distribute in a school zone, drug trafficking and possession of stolen firearms.

The department said the investigation seized more than 750 grams of narcotics from Delossantos’ home, including over 100 grams of fentanyl, as well as four firearm and high-capacity magazines.

His pre-trial conference is set for June 13.
