MassDOT to replace traffic signs on I-495 in multiple communities

WAREHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said it will be performing guide and traffic sign replacement on the Interstate 495 corridor and ramp interchanges in Wareham, Middleborough, and Raynham.

Work will occur overnight from March 16 to May 16 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., as well as during the day from March 17 through May 23 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Lane and shoulder closures in both directions will be used as needed.

Drivers traveling through the affected area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
