Cranston Police investigating break-ins, car theft

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Police Department said it is investigating multiple break-ins and larcenies that occurred early Saturday morning.

The department said that officers responded to a residence on Cranston Street around 5 a.m. for a failed breaking and entering.

Around the same time the department also received reports of larcenies from parked vehicles on Vera Street and Woodland Avenue, as well as of a vehicle being stolen in that area.
