Charlestown crash leaves 2 with serious injuries

CHARLESTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Charlestown Police Department said that a crash on General Stanton Lane left two people with serious injuries.

An officer was flagged down in the area around 2:30 p.m. and multiple emergency crews responded.

First responders found two victims, with one being “heavily trapped.”

Both victims were removed from the vehicle and transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
