Teen dies after crash in Falmouth

FALMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) — Cape and Islands District Attorney Robert Galibois said that a teenager was killed and two other people were injured after a crash in Falmouth on March 28.

State troopers responded to Route 28 North around 4 p.m. to a vehicle down an embankment with “catastrophic damage.”

One victim was found under the vehicle and declared dead on scene.

WCVB reported that the victim was 18-year-old Kayden Coombs, of Falmouth, according to Massachusetts State Police.

The other two victims were outside the vehicle, and one was transported via medflight to a trauma center, while the other was transported to an area hospital.

The incident is under investigation.
